Canada Bars Seaworld from Breeding Orcas in Captivity

Authorities in California have banned SeaWorld from breeding animals in captivity.

This ruling, which came from the California Coastal Commission, followed a request by the San Diego aquarium to build new tanks for its orcas.

This has apparently now called into question the future of the park's killer whale attraction.

SeaWorld has said it is "disappointed" with the new ruling.
