Day 1 Homeland - Bucharest
Arrival at the airport, reception of the guide and transfer to the hotel.Day at leisure in the city.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Bucharest - Cozia- Sibiu - Bazna
Drive through the Wallachia, a short stop at the Monastery of Cozia (14th century) Then follow the Red Tower Pass to Transylvania. City tour in Sibiu with the visit of the large and small ring, the lies bridge as well as the cathedral.Arrival evening in Bazna.
Day 3 Bazna - Biertan - Sighisoara-Bazna
Morning drive to the largest Saxon church in Siebenbürgen, after Biertan.Afterwards the tour of the town in Sighisoara with a visit of the clock tower, the birthplace of Count Dracula and also the mountain church. In the afternoon, ride with carriage-horses to the Saxon church of Boian .In the evening, festive dinner with folklore program.
Day 4 Bazna - Turda -Cluj Napoca- Sighetul Marmatiei
In the morning drive to Turdaand visit the salt mine. Afterwards, the tour of the city in ClujNapocawith a visit to St Michael's cathedral and the statue Mathias Corvinus. In the afternoon drive to Sapanta where you will visit the "cheerful cemetery".
Day 5 SighetulMarmatiei - Viseul de Sus - Bistrita | | In the morning drive to Viseul de Sus where the steam train awaits us. The narrow-gauge spur of only 760 m leads us through a wild-romantic forest area into the Carpathians. In addition to the beautiful landscape, you can admire many bridges and tunnels along the route. The steam train was already used in the 18 th century by the Austrian monarchy as a waterway through the dense forests of the Carpathians. Lunch is also a picnic with drinks included in the mountains. In the afternoon transfer from Viseu to the hotel in Bistrita.
Day 6 Bistrita - Sovata - Predeal
In the morning you take the bus to the resort Sovata. The health resort is famous all over the world for its thermal baths. Here you can take a steam train on the narrow-gauge railway from Sovata to CampuCetatii (Burgfeld) and back in 2011. Then follow the road to Predeal via Praid and Homorod.
Day 7 Predeal - Brasov - Bran -Sinaia - Bucharest
In the morning drive to Brasov. Short city tour in the old town. Afterwards drive to Bran Castle, also known as Dracula Castle. After a short stop in Sinaia to see the Peles castle, the summer residence of the Romanian kings from the outside. Afternoon sightseeing in the capital of Romania with a visit to the patriarch church and village museum.
Day 8 Bucharest - home
In the morning free time. Afterwards transfer to the airport, departure from the tour guide and home flight. |
